Manchester United's latest signing Angelo Henrique insist he is determined to make the most of his opportunity on such a grand stage.

Manchester United is pleased to announce it has reached agreement with Arsenal Football Club for the transfer of Robin Van Persie.

The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms. A further announcement will be made in due course.

Sir Alex Ferguson is confident Robin van Persie will be available to make his Manchester United debut against Everton on Monday night.

United announced on Wednesday night that they had agreed a fee with Arsenal for the Holland striker, subject to him settling personal terms and passing a medical, which he will undergo in Manchester on Thursday.

Ferguson said: "He is on his way up from London for a medical later this afternoon. We hope that goes according to plan. His agent is in discussions with (United chief executive) David Gill right about now. We hope all the things will be tied up, although sometimes medicals do take a bit longer. I am sure he will be available for Monday's game."

Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez is to join Manchester United by the end of the month, according to his club.

The 18-year-old is due to sign for a reported £3.5million after undergoing a medical at Old Trafford.
